Down In The Reeds Festival, Washington, DC - October 9, 2021

This was taken on my birthday. I was seeing Mt. Joy the day before and and bunch of friends’ bands playing Pearl Street Warehouse the next day, so for weeks before I thought about getting out of DC on my birthday for a show. I considered flying to NH to see Lez Zeppelin or Flying to Nashville to catch the Opry and whoever else I could find to see, but ultimately DC had a festival on the grounds of the old Walter Reed hospital. I knew three of the acts playing and one of those was Brassie. She’s a really gifted singer and songwriter, so I try to catch her live when I can. Taken with my Canon EOS R.
