Cat Janice

So this is another opener of an opener story, or maybe the same one but one fewer opener. Mattiel opened for St. Paul and the Broken Bones at The Anthem and I really liked her. She headlined a show at Songbyrd and Cat Janice was the opener. I’ve seen her a handful of times since then and she always puts on a great show and makes my job easy with poses like the one in this picture (is it really a poses if you are just performing?). There’s a rumor that Cat is teaming up with another local favorite of mine, so I’m really looking forward to that.
