Cathy DiToro

Cathy is a local DC artist who is in approximately 5,000 bands. This show she was with her 90s/ska tribute band The Can’t Evens (I think they are called Party Like It’s... now). Cathy is one of my favorite local artists. She owns the stage and has a lot of fun performing. This won’t end up being the only picture of her on here. This is also the very first show using my EOS R. I got the camera on a Friday, the only lens I could afford (50mm f-1.8) on Saturday and this show was on Sunday. The auto-focus drove me crazy at the show. It was so precise compared to the G7 X Mark II that if it focused on the microphone then the face would be slightly out of focus. It’s true of this image a little. My first lesson with the new camera, set the aperture at f-2.8 for dark rooms to get the auto-focus working better. Taken with my Canon EOS R.
