Elizabeth II

Jammin Java, Vienna, VA - June 20, 2020

This was my first show since the Covid-19 lockdowns and it meant everything to me. I need live music and I don’t do well when I don’t have a regular supply of shows on my schedule. I saw that Jammin Java was going to start having shows in their parking lot and that one of the first was going to be Elizabeth II and I jumped on it. I’ve mentioned on here that one of the ways I find artists are through opening acts and that was how I found Elizabeth II. I saw St. Paul and the Broken Bones and an artist named Mattiel opened for them. Then I saw Mattiel as a headliner and an artist named Cat Janice opened for her. Finally I went to see Cat as the headliner and she told me to look for her opener Elizabeth II. I was sold on Beth when she segued into Led Zeppelin’s Dazed and Confused during one of her songs at that show. Can’t say enough good things about Beth and if you are in the DC area make sure you see her. This was the first show of more than many at Jammin Java in 2020.
