Like a lot of stories of how I found a musician it all starts with David Bowie. After his death his long time piano play, Mike Garson, was doing a tour with other musicians who played with David over his career. They had various singers play songs throughout the show and Gaby was one of the ones who stood out to me. I had tried to see her solo at some point after the Bowie show but the date didn’t workout, so I was happy she was on the AMERICANAFEST lineup.
