Pageant Girls

So anyone who has looked at this or my Instagram knows one of my favorite acts to see is Lez Zeppelin. I’ve been seeing them for years before I was serious about taking good live music pictures. Back when I started seeing them the bass/keyboards were played by Megan X Thomas. I was following Megan on Instagram and recently she popped back up with posts from a new band, Pageant Girls. Pageant Girls is a post-punk, alternative band that is well worth checking out. I usually only convert pictures to B&W if I have to and this picture of Megan is a good example. She was standing in an area on the stage that was at least a stop less light than the rest of the stage and the only real light there was a red spotlight. Taken with my Canon EOS R.
