Kailee Morgue

When you have a pro camera as defined by venues (detachable lens typically being the line), then it’s nice to find venues that allow those camera unless the act asks that they be forbidden. Union Stage is one of those venues, so I’m much more likely to take a chance on an act recommended to me. Being able to photograph the show with my pro camera rather than my pocket camera is a huge incentive for me. I have friends who love UPSAHL and she announced a show at Union Stage with Kailee Morgue opening, so I took my friends’ advice and bought a ticket. Opening acts are big for me since I find a lot of acts I like that way and this was no exception. Kailee put on a great set and I think I got some really nice pictures from it. I’m looking forward to the next time she comes to DC and recommend people check her out. Taken with my Canon EOS R.
