See the Kailee Morgue post for some of the backstory with this show. This is another show I bought the VIP tickets for the early entry, but it also came with a meet & greet. UPSAHL was really great with all of the VIP fans. She also put on a hell of a show. Really high energy. For the most part the lighting was really good which I wasn’t expecting because I had seen video of strobe lighting at the show before on her tour. A lot of times the sound guy also does the lights and while they really understand sound and the dynamic range of that they have less knowledge about lights and the dynamic range of them. In this case I could show the lighting guy a few pictures to explain issues with what the lights were doing, but overall the lighting added a lot of visual interest to the show and that’s the best I can ask for.
