Smooth AF

This is Lana Layne the singer of Smooth AF. When Jammin Java reopened for outside shows in June 2020 I emailed them to ask if I could photograph using my pro camera. Lana was the person who replied saying basically yes. I went there for Elizabeth II and was looking around to get the lay of the land, figure out where the best place to takes pictures would be, Lana was working the bar. She suggested what is now my favorite beer, Crooked Run Raspberry Empress. But it still was months before I knew she sang in bands as well. Smooth AF is a covers band that I make a point of seeing whenever I can. It’s made up of local musicians from other bands, all really good people. I will always consider Lana to be family though.
